Welcome to my blog. This blog is more of a journal of my thoughts and prayers as well as updates of what is going on in the life of our little family. Most entries will be private, but some updates I will share publicly. Thanks for stopping by!
House Hunters FTW!

So the last time I posted about this was April 23, 2020. We had just begun our journey in hopes of purchasing a home. We were pre-approved for the amount of a house we really liked. Well, after looking at the house that Saturday, we took the weekend to consider, and a few days later we put in an offer and it was accepted! After some negotiations, crossing our fingers that the appraisal would support the purchase price (which I knew it would, because wouldn’t you know, I am an appraiser!), and then some unforeseen delays at closing, we got the keys to the house on June 26, 2020! Yay! The house is such a unique home with lots of character. I call it the Goldie Locks House. I envision us being here for a long time. Puppy dog certainly likes it! God has certainly answered our prayers beyond what we even asked for! Now prayers that God would fill it with family and friends!

Protected: Um No
Poor Puppy
I’ve been told over and over how important socialization is for young puppies. Well, thanks to our quarantine lockdown, my poor pup our almost 6 month old pup has not been able to interact with other dogs since the 2nd week of March. He has resorted to play bowing and barking at his reflection in the oven door. We’ve name that other puppy…oven dog (I know, creative).
I’m not sure what to do with puppy to make sure he has proper socialization during this time. I just hope he isn’t set back too much because of it. 😓
So It Begins

I am so excited. We decided to take the first step and get pre-qualified for a home loan. We saw a house online that we really liked and figured, why not give it a shot? We ended up being pre-approved for the amount the house is currently listed. We’re going to go see it this Saturday. Yay! Prayers would be appreciated that God would give us clear direction about which house he has for us, and that we would be content in whatever decision is providentially made.
